Description

The Magswitch D120 Compliance Device is an accessory to the D120 (sold separately). The compliance device simplifies setup for the D120 by compensating for part variation and can be used for flat and near-flat contact, NOT for extreme deviation (round parts). Consider units with customizable pole geometries in these scenarios instead. Angular compliance is allowed on the X and Y axes as well as vertical compression about the Z axis. The additional flexibility also improves the handling of sagging sheets ensuring the maximum performance in each application. It also imparts a dampening effect against accelerations.

The D120 is an ultra shallow field, multi-array, pneumatic actuated, magnetic gripper tool designed to excel in material handling on thin sheet metal (< 2.0mm). The D120 excels where traditional magnets, EPM (Electric Permanent Magnetic) grippers, and suction cups cannot get a strong enough grip.

This exciting new industrial robot end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) is ideally suited for robotic automation processes including press loading/unloading, part de-racking, machine tending, pick and place, robotic picking, or ergonomic lift assist.
